Discussion and sharing.

As the session is brought to a close....we are inspired by the many Good Shepherd People around the world....Whether we’re in West Malaysia, Sabah or Singapore, Sr. Brigid’s visit to our Province has affirmed the importance of partnership.  The need to grow partnership not only in the Province but also on the international level.

Our hearts reach out and we pray for
    •     children – young girls kidnapped and raped, children orphaned because of aids, children forced to work as beggars, in the fields or driven to prostitution.
    •    families – who abandon their children due to economic and social reasons, the impact of gambling and the change in values, divorce and its implications.
    •    women, immigrants, victims of trafficking and prostitution.
    •    Justice and Peace, and an end to poverty and war.

We are encouraged by the brave Good Shepherd people out in the world making a difference.  We are not alone, but belong to an international family of Good Shepherd people, in strength we remember the words of St. Mary Euphrasia, “Courage! Go forth to save souls”.

  Thank you, Sr Brigid.
